A small town near the German border with a population of 20.000 inhabitants. The local goverment urges for a proposal to change the oldtown, a square protected by a park. The main problem like in a lot of european cities is the car overuse. Parking and car lines are everywhere leaving a narrow part of the city for pedestrians. The result is lack of social activities, bussines closed and rotten streets and public space.

The proposal seeks changes on time, leeting people assimilate the main idea. For that we are going to connected the main public space and streets with the green ring to offer a continuos pedestrian space.

Due the small budget We realize that using standar technics of urban space transformation like changing the materials of the streets for pedestrial will make very expesinve intervention and imposible to develop in the whole city.

PAINT/PLANT/PLAY is the tools for urban space in this scenario.

Due the wetaher in Poland, just half year is suitable for people to use the public space so we decide to paint the street, create an unified pattern for managing the space spending less money during half year. 

​

A module furniture will be add to this space easy to install and take it away to provide quality to the public: trees, flowers, seats and installations.
