Small town few kilometers from the beach in Dominican Republic island. The plot is a striped-shape 300m2 with two sides facing the street.rv A house for a couple with 2 children and the continuos visits of the mother. Requirements: a house of two floors with 4 private units, a garden and a swiming pool. The Town is made up of individual plots with various houses isolated by swiming pools. Customers were looking for a spacious-open house but at the same time seeked for privacy and security. 3 conditions lead the design: the security, the weather and openness. Trying to avoid the intersticial spaces between the house and the walls, the proposal uses the whole plot and integrates the garden and the swiming pool inside the house to keep permanent connection between inside/ouside. The climate is hot all year (30degree) with strong rains. For this reason We perforate the house all over and the wall facing the street became a perforate wall that let the wind go in and across the house that creates a secure perimeter. The first floor is fully open, all the space is connected and divided by several patios with different gardens to create the feeling of living in the nature. All rooms are located on the second floor and appeared isolated like private villas giving a broken facade to the street, lowering the scale percereption. Materials - grey-ash color concrete for the floor  avoiding over exposure from the sun light. Prefabric concrete blocks for the facade and private areas like wc, monolayer waterproof  for the walls.
