" A gardener and a painter " A young couple wants to build a nice and budget house in a small town 10km from Toledo. He likes nature and she wants a bright empty space full of light. Freedom in design, only 2 conditions: a strict low budget and to make a flexible house where to add 2 rooms (future kids).

Following the strict urban planning rules (white cement mortar walls, 2floors, 12m depth max and ceramic tiles slopped roof we tried to make magic and create spaces that follow the vernacular architecture of the town in the same time that offers a new sensorial experience.

The house is facing the Patio-Garden. All main spaces are linked physically or visually providing continuous contact with the future trees and extending the inside to the outside.

The corner. Due the situation of the plot, the NW corner is invading the street, no following the alienation of the street. We break the corner and create a porch with a tree making it clear whose house is: the gardener. We wanted to create a polyfunctional room in front of the house that can be used as a parking, patio or a public space.

The second floor is split in 2 halves for the future kids coming, being used now as a studio for painting and the main room for the couple with the tree going through.
