Kameshkovo is a small town in Vladimir province. It´s an example of a soviet town founded in the middle of the XX Century, based on the industrial production of textil in this case. Apartment blocks of 4-5 floor  create the comunnity next to the factory and other facilities.

With the collapse of the soviet union and the following crisis period, the factory closed its doors in 90´. Since then, inhabitants are running small bussiness or working in the nearest town.

In recent years we can see an economical growth and a tendency of moving out from apartments and buying or remaking old construcions called "dacha".

One storage house built with trunks (whole piece of the trees being piled up) with 2 rooms. A 80 years house is where the proposal will take place as a extension. The house itself suffered several changes in shape and materials, adding new rooms to the main body according to the needs of each time (farming, planting, cars storage, etc...) Its last reform consisted of creating a new shell bigger than the original house, removing the old roof and covering more surface that gives a new entrance + extra room and an attic as a summer house for all the visits during vacation.

A wooden frame creates a new triangular space hard to be occupied due the small heigh near the edges. The challenge is to provide with a space for 10 people. We minimazed  the size of the bedroom and created some kind of niches in both sides of the floor plan, liberating the central space with the aim to be used for the family during winter time. A space for kids is located in the upper part where the heigh is smaller like a "tree house" enriching the space and the connection between them. A Couple of wire nets are installed providing with flying bed as a playground or space for "siesta".

In resume, using the same system from the past, we create a tetris of several interesting spaces for joy. We keep the nature of the wooden structure and use white color for elements added.
