Operation 1. Visible

A perimeter volume assumes a series of new uses (cafeteria, restrooms, gymnasium and services) that complement the current ones by connecting them through a continuous line that takes advantage of the existing vertical communications. A metallic screen generates a gallery of lights and shadows improving the light conditions in the interior and offering to the outside with a new more public and transparent image. In addition, this loggia generates a continuous shadow around the building connecting all the accesses and providing a space for rest or outdoor activity.

The facade is built on perforated aluminum metal panels. The density of the holes adds transparency depending on the orientation and the use inside.
The pores are closed in cover and false ceiling.

Operation 2. Hidden ¨El antiguero¨

The anthill is an underworld of cavities extracted from the  ground. A refuge of activity, a new world of equal dimensions but hidden, a footprint on another footprint. Through a series of constructive actions of acupuncture a volume is generated in the subsoil that appears to the surface in shape of cavities.

Inside, an image opposite to the upper trace. An almost totalitarian representativeness not sought in cavernous access gaps as tied to the current foundation.
