Following the strict urban rules dictated by General Plan of Madrid for Social housing often produces the same result, generic linear housing blocks made of brick with the same type of facade and living scheme inside. We continue with the absurdity with small changes trying to improve the public space, the indoor spaces, and the facade image.​

Like in acupuncture ... we propose a hybrid between tower and linear block, twisting the tale to offer views unfaced, maximizing the sunlight inside the apartments and in the public space and creating a tension image that breaks with the monotonous facades of the surroundings.

A gift and a surprise are giving in the end of the plot. A public space protected from the outside and a swimming pool at the end that faces the center of the block in a voyeurism act.

We resolved the skin and structure in one material, white texturized concrete with alternative openings that continue in the north and south orientation providing continuity to the whole building. The terraces face south west and here the building change completely, become transparent and through traditional wooden shutters the users control the sunlight.

The inside follows the social housing book and add more cross ventilation situation, better views, 3 orientations and a structure that can easily be modify in the future, a big column with installation in it, leaving the rest of the space for future modifications.​
