The expansion of the old theater is perceived as an appropriation, a prior emptying and subsequent conquest of the space, of this new resulting solid, transforming and manipulating it to create a new experience as a whole. This new parasite is presented as a lightweight metal construction that utilizes the existing structure, rests on the reinforced walls of the current building, and begins to colonize the space, manipulating it, offering a different experience, and adding technical qualities that were lacking in the entire structure.

 

As this is a symbiotic relationship, each part benefits from this relationship. A concatenation of solids and voids creates a new way of moving through and experiencing space. Urban spaces now appear, such as antechambers, porticos, a three-story hall, platforms, windows overlooking the market square, and a domestic-scale outdoor terrace that functions as an extension of the ballroom or is used as a café for events. From a visual perspective, the new "lid" is fragmented, reducing its scale and forming a set of volumes on the roof that integrates with the city's layout from a morphological point of view.
