We are in hill in the old town of Vera, ALmeria. The project itself is more about fixing the urban context and the landscape and uncovering the potential of the place and reuse as much as possible the structure of the current market.

From the urban point of view, we remake the public space, block the old access and create a main access in the corner and provide with a new comunication core in the small alley, wasted and residual space in the current situation.

We kept the concrete structure and rotate the steal structure in the roof creating a new volumen that improve the natural lighting inside, cross ventilation and give a new image to the whole complex. A new floor with new functions coexist with the old market. The roof is taking in consideration and giving a new function of terraces outdoor for events or simple daily aperitivo on it enjoying the new relation with the houses in front and the views to the horizont.
