CITY PARK

The citywall park in ALULA. The current situation is defined by a big portion of residual land without any cultural or historical interest. The project tries to create an area, a public park that links the new develepment part of the city with the old town and the oasis. We are proposing the regenration of the old mud walls, the integration of the wadi towards the oasis and the implementation and control of the flood sector.

The journey start in here. The park as the preset for the understanding of the historical site, convining agricultural uses, paths and public squares inmersed in a palms and desert trees.

A few follies, primitive architectural pieces of mud enhance the experience along the park enlighing and framing some critical aspects to be understood and experienced before going into the old town.
