Old temple in the famous mountain of Emeishan. They wanted to transform the old temple in a small hotel with new facilities connected with nature and meditation.  ¨...live like a monk...¨ We wanted to create a space for the mind and the body, recreating monk daily routine found in meditation, praying, tea ceremony, sharing food or looking for inspiration in nature.  Avoiding the individual VIP rooms concept, we tried to reach the goal of new experience with all consequences. A space for sharing and respecting others.  Keeping the old structure, the proposal is acting inside removing all the walls leaving for contemplation the wooden structure of hundred years.  The ground floor will be filled with facilities such as restaurant, meditation room, reception and the spa.   The rooms will be located in the second floor. Small boxes are spared in the whole floor ... touching each other, next to or living a new space in between. It is a place for sharing, reading and drinking tea, talking where technology has no place ... a place that is looking for human interactions.
